How to improve performance of the Genius Planner (Gantt)

N.B. This article applies to Genius Project 7+

After upgrading Java to the latest version 1.8.0 on your PC, you might notice that the Gantt chart takes more time to load. The reason is the default protocol for validating SSL and java code certificates has changed.

To fix this,

1. Close your browser.
2. Go to the Java Control Panel, under Advanced tab.
3. Define the settings as shown in the screenshot below.
4. Apply you changes.

Now, if you try to work with the Genius Planner again, it should load faster.
